AWARD FOR PHOENIX AUTHOR>
Keith Bodner has been awarded, for his 1 Samuel: A Narrative Commentary, the 2009 R. B. Y. Scott Award at the Canadian Society of Biblical Studies Annual Meeting, May 24-26, 2009. The award is in recognition of an outstanding book in the areas of Hebrew Bible and/or the Ancient Near East written by a member of the CSBS and published during the previous two years.
